NOT me Monday!

Well I follow an incredible blog called MckMama and every Monday she has a Not me Monday where we lovely mommies can confess what we did NOT do this week. :) Today my Not me Monday is about my aversion to leaning over the bathtub. So in the last few weeks baths have become something I dread as this basketball sized lump under my shirt becomes more pronounced and my back becomes more achey giving baths has become a not so nightly thing anymore. So no way am I the mother who slapped baby lotion all over her squirmy toddler so he would smell delicious and oh so fresh without giving him a bath, No Not Me! I would never do something so appalling just for my own comfort, and I would never ask my 5 year old to wash his little brother in the shower so I could sit and read the last few pages of my book while sitting in the bathroom listening to the scrubbing yet not participating in it. These are the things that any good Mother would certainly not do! So for my NOT me Monday for sure I did not do either of them several times this week! :) Everyone knows I am perfect, right? :)

Just some older pictures so show off my babies!

A little update on us!

The picture is of Mason at around 10 months old. I love the pic but I surely was going to kill my husband when I saw him do this! :)

Well I am now 34 weeks pregnant! Woohoo! It is getting so exciting to think I am going to have a new little baby in a few short weeks. :) Miller weighed in at 5lbs 2oz at my 33 week ultrasound so he is growing wonderfully! I have lots of fluid (21) and his head is in the 93 percentile! :) So no tiny peanut this time! With Christmas coming soon we are enjoying every minute of this wonderful weather and holiday spirit around our neighborhood. The kids are loving playing outside in the backyard and the fresh air is so wonderful for them they could stay out there for hours and I get to curl up to a good book on the couch with the breeze from out back coming in while the kids play, there is nothing better! This is the last week of school for Jesse and Jackson and then they each have 2 weeks off! Which will be grand! We are going to be spending Christmas in Phoenix this year staying with Jesses parents and switching over to my parents for sometime too. It will be a little vacation for the kids since we only live an hour from the grandparents they never get to have Christmas away from our own home this year we are going to write Santa a letter to let him know we will be at Grandma Salsa's so he doesn't pass us up :)

Oh sibling love!

I love Callie's face in this picture it is a little of you better stay right here because mom is taking a picture and about 10% the gritting the teeth I love you sooo much face! lol Mason boogers and all just wanted to get away from his sisters deathly grip but at least I got the cute snapshot before he escaped! :)

Loving the cozy xmas sleeper

There is nothing sweeter than an adorable boy in his cozy Christmas pajamas. I love them and I will keep him in these sleepers as long as he will tolerate them because come on he just can't get any cuter than this!!

Boys night out

Jackson and his daddy had there first of many nights out at the Suns game. Jackson had the time of his life and even got an ice cream from his Aunt during halftime. He is getting so big and looking more like his daddy everyday. Jesse wanted it to be such a special night he declined an invitation from his buddies to sit with them because he wanted to have his night with just his big boy! Definitely one of the sweetest things a daddy can do, give his time.

4 is the perfect number

These are 3d images of our precious baby boy due to make his arrival in a few weeks. My handsome hubby and I were talking last night and we have decided that 4 was the number we were striving for all along, when and how each of these beautiful blessings came to us was definitely in God's hands and we wouldn't have it any other way. We love feeling baby Miller move under my tired tummy muscles and we can not wait to meet his ten toes and fingers. And I can't wait to smell his sweet baby breath, there is nothing like a just breastfed baby sleeping in your arms. WE KNOW everyone of our babies was brought to us on purpose and we will forever be greatful for every stinky diaper, temper tantrum, and sweet baby screaming in the middle of the night. We love you Jackson, Callie, Mason and baby Miller and this year we have slowed down enough to realize just how much we have to be thankful for.

30 week belly pic!!!!

Here is my belly at 30 weeks pregnant with baby Miller!! I can't wait to hold him in my arms but I am so comfortable in my pregnant body this time that I am breathing in every minute of it since I know this is our last. :(My doc appt this last Tuesday baby Miller was guessed to be weighing in at around 3 1/2 pounds which is pretty big for 30 weeks so at least we know he is big and healthy despite all of the problems I have had. So we are very excited about that! :)

Happy 4 year anniversary to me and my hubby!

Our lives have changed so much in the years we have been together (9 together, 4 married). But one thing remains the same Jesse and I are partners in life and we love each other to the end of the world. It took us a much needed night out this week to realize every single reason we love each other. The stresses of a busy life sometimes get in the way but 4 years later I can honestly say Jesse is my soulmate and I love him with everything that I am. He is a wonderful father and husband and I am so excited to continue on this journey to forever with him along side of me. I LOVE YOU HONEY!! :) Happy Anniversary!

Poem from a friends blog

This is exactly how I believe, my babies always come first!! Love this poem!

Mother, oh Mother, come shake out your cloth
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
Hang out the washing and butter the bread,
Sew on a button and make up a bed.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.

Oh, I've grown shiftless as Little Boy Blue
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
The shopping is not done and there's nothing for stew
And out in the yard there is a hullabaloo.
But I'm playing "Kanga" and this is my "Roo."
Look! Aren't his eyes the most wonderful hue?

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

Finally a picture of me!

I don't like to post pictures of myself but I have decided I need to get over it! I am a mom and most days I will not have makeup on and not be dressed but for goodness sakes that is okay! :) So here is a picture of me after always sharing my children I am going to be brave and show myself along with them! lol

Halloween 2009

Well 2 kids out of 3 enjoyed halloween! Poor Mason came down with a virus of some sort and had a fever so he just hung in the stroller in some sweats. :( But Miss Callie was snow white and Jackson was a white ninja and they looked adorable and got so much candy from all our neighbors who just love them! We are so blessed to live on such a great street where everyone acts as though our kids are there grandchildren since we have the only ones on the block. We love it!!

Pumpkin carving 2009!

Carving pumpkins!! The kids loved pumpkin carving this year! Getting there hands all in it was the best and we even cooked the seeds afterwards although Jesse made them taste a bit like popcorn with all the oil and salt he used! :) We enjoyed our pumpkins for the whole day before halloween and then they started to collapse! lol Maybe I shouldnt have waited until Walmart had only crummy pumpkins left! Oh well better luck next year!

Jack getting his student of the month award!

I really need a new camera! But here is the closest my camera would zoom it is a picture of me, Jackson and his kindergarten teacher Mrs. Morgan. We are soo proud of him that he got student of the month and I am absolutely loving my new bumper sticker. :)

Finally a name for our newest addition!

We have decided on a name for our little man that we are sticking with. :) Miller Jay Brown will be joining our family sometime in January, we are very excited to be adding another blessing to our lives! It is a little bittersweet for me since he is my last but I know we have a houseful of children that keeps my heart happy. I went to the doc yesterday for a checkup and had an ultrasound. Little Miller weighed in at 2lbs 4 oz and his head measured in the 89 percentile! So needless to say it doesnt look like we will be having another little 6lber on our hands this time :) He will be a husky healthy boy!

The picture of Jack and Callie is from our neighborhood end of summer festival! It was a lot of fun and we got to see our friends Colby and Lindsey with there beautiful baby Beckham, it was wonderful!

The top picture is of the kids enjoying the morning outside! With beautiful weather playing outside has become a daily activity and the fresh air has just felt wonderful for all of us. :) Much needed after that hot Arizona summer.

An Update on us

Well Mason is getting so big! He still isn't walking even though he will be 14 months tomorrow! But oh well all of my kids seem to have walked on there own time Jack being 15 months and Callie 13 months everyone says I hold them to much so they dont need to walk but isnt that the best part of being a mommy :) Mason is done nursing finally got him on milk from a bottle last week! At this point being the 3rd baby I am not even worried if he takes that bottle for another year as long as he is off the boob it is an accomplishment. :) It was hard to stop nursing him because I had been doing it for so long but with Jesse home it really helped to keep him away from me so he wouldn't miss it. Jackson starts school in 2 days!! We are going to meet his teacher tonight we are super excited he is going to such a wonderful school. He will be in school from 8:10-2:45 it seems like such a long day for a kindergartener but I guess he will get used to it. Callie is just the princess as always still working on potty training and ruling the roost here by just being so darn cute! lol
I am 14 weeks pregnant now and I go back to the doctor tomorrow for my monthly appt we will have to see in the ultrasound if we can see any gender parts! I am hoping we can but not holding my breath for sure since it is so early.

Experienced bloggers help the newbie out I can not for the life of me figure out how to change that awful pink color in the background in the middle, any suggestions? Thanks!!

Bathtime

I love bathtime!! It is such a wonderful end to a joyous day. My kids get to get all there ickys off as they call it, and relax before heading to bed. This is one of my favorite times of the night it is especially wonderful because I get to hear all of the laughter coming from the bathroom as I clean up after dinner, who wouldn't love listening to baby giggles while washing the dishes?!!

I am editing this blog to add, that I Jesse is in the bathroom with them! lol I kind of made it sound like I leave them alone in there, no way no how!! :)

Almost 1 year ago Mason Joshua entered this world!

own! It is sad to see him grow up but I am enjoying every minute of my last little one doing all the special first things. Here is a picture of my little hairy monkey almost one year ago.
Well it has almost been 1 year since my little prince Mason was born. I can't believe how time has fl
