Our morning today.

Today is my run ragged day, by mid afternoon my energy is zapped and I won't recover until next Thursday when I need to do it all over again! This morning Jesse and I rolled out of bed at 7:22 AM which if it was a day off would have been great but we don't have days off in our household. So Jesse starts to get himself ready for the day as I go along and start prodding the children to get up for day. Jackson gets to the couch in a heap of blankets and with lots of groaning along the way. I immediately have to get him off the couch and get him dressed as he and Jesse leave for school at 7:45 sharp, or at least they are supposed to.

Callie is next she is camping out on my floor and is lucky she wasn't stepped on ten minutes earlier when I jumped out of bed and didn't even notice she was there. She has preschool that starts at 8:15 and which entails me being ready, her being ready, Jesse and Jack out the door, Mason and Miller with dry diapers on , still in jammies. So Callie starts her whole I dont want to go today routine which lasts about all of 15 minutes until I graciously allow her to pick out her outfit for school. Amazingly, she perked right up and started moving. I threw her water bottle in her backpack, whipped up a ponytail on both her and I, pulled up some on the floor clothes just decent enough for me to walk her into class, grabbed me two little boys and raced to the minivan to pack it full with kiddos and screech down the street to preschool.

Phew two kids at school that means only two here when I shower and put on clean clothes for the day! Yay! Except for a minute into the shower my new walking 1 year old has decided the open door to the bathroom means he is invited to come in so he decides to smile at mommy in the shower and push all the shampoo bottles into the tub so mommy can get some exercise by having to avoid getting my toes broken by dropping shampoo. So that minute to myself was over before it ever began unfortunately! :)

Then blow dried my hair with Miller on my lap while having to stop every few minutes to get Miller to let go of the plug and then deal with his mini meltdown because he was told NO! :) Oh if he only knew it is just the beginning of the NO's :)

Then it is time to load them all up and go get Callie from preschool before she freaks out because I am not there before Chapel and we all know she doesn't want to go to Chapel where they sing, dance and have fun. I still don't understand that one! haha

Then drive through Walmart pharmacy line to get my migraine meds, then back to the house for lunch and naps.

So far that is where we are at, do you hear that, is that quiet in the Brown house! ;) ................ Oh I wish actually only 0 children are napping, 2 are resting, and 2 toddlers are exploring. Its the closest to quiet our house will ever be for the 18 + years!

But I wouldn't have it any other way :)

WAY TO LONG!

Alot has happened since I blogged last, Miller is 1, Mason is 2, Callie is 4 and Jackson is 7! We have had a wonderful holiday season and are loving everyday as it comes. I am now working at a hospital doing ER registration, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my job and am feel so blessed to have been given a chance with no experience to do this job. It is amazing and really makes me feel great knowing I am helping support our household and getting time to myself is really fulfilling too. Jesse is still teaching K-5 PE and loves his job as well! Jackson is doing incredible in the first grade, he got PE boy of the quarter for kindergarten last year and this year he has gotten Music boy of the quarter which is really incredible considering only 4 boys and 4 girls are picked from each grade for this award and he has been picked for both specials already! We couldn't be more proud of how smart, polite and determined to succeed Jackson has become this year we are enjoying every minute of watching him grow into a big boy instead of our little baby.

I am going to try and blog several times a week this year so I can have a special book of memories about 2011. So here is to a healthy happy wonderful new year!

Monday Monday Monday!

Wow did I say it is Monday! :) Somehow while reaching in the backseat my Mrs. Incredible stretch arm failed to extend and my shoulder has decided it needs to send shooting pain through my arm about every 7 seconds today it has been around 10 the last few days so somewhat tolerable. Now it is getting fairly annoying. UGG! Darn my Superhero arms for not working last week I really didn't they realize I needed to reach the back of the van while stopped in the school pickup line? Everyone knows us crazy moms are packed in like sardines with no room to actually exit our vehicle to help our struggling toddler in the back reach his helpless blue lizard "Carl" who is flopped on the floor. So here goes my 2nd regimen of Icy Hot, ibprofen and a good if you push really hard the pain will subside for .2 seconds attempt to cure this lovely shoulder mishap. Oh and we can't forget in about 1 minute my curious daughter will ask why I smell like toothpaste is all over my back and I will have to remind her it is not toothpaste but backpaste and it is like mommy kisses to mommy's shoulder booboo. (for the 600TH time today!) :) Did I mention that is it Monday!! lol

Well overdo!

Well it has been a world wind of a few months. The saying "Life comes at your fast" is an understatement to say the least. A rollercoaster we are on and we have yet to be able to get off. Today is about updating in the form of rambling. So hopefully you are able to get some info from the out of order goulash I am about to write. :)

Well exciting things happening as of late, Miller is about to be 4 months and I cant believe it, Callie and Mason have started eating ground beef all due to our wonderful Canadian neighbors who gave us their fresh angus ground beef when they left and I can believe the difference in the meat I will NEVER buy the store meat again unless it is grass or corn fed and Angus only! YUM! , Jack is in his last month of kindergarten (is that not insane! yes it is!), we are contemplating our next move as Jesse job security in Arizona has gone away so we have lots to pray about.

So there a little minor update I will try to get time to add a few pics but I am being called in a few different directions at the moment. Motherhood calls.

God Bless.

From 2006 to 2009

If you take this sweet baby and change her into a blue outfit you would see her brother Miller. I have created the same baby twice in 2006 and again in 2009. Don't ask me how I did it, it still amazes me everytime I set eyes on my new boy but all I can say is Jesse and I make some gorgeous babies and I can't wait to see how Callie's 3 years later twin looks when he gets older. :)

Finally getting around to annoucing the arrival of Miller Jay!!

Miller was born 4 weeks early on December 30, 2009. I had an amnio done on the 29th to see if his lungs were mature since I had been having so much kidney stone trouble, the next day the hospital called and said I was supposed to be there getting induced! But everyone failed to mention it to me! lol So I packed everything up and threw the kids in the car and we headed for the hospital. Miller was born after an uneventful labor at 5:31 PM weighing 6lbs 3oz. He is nursing like a champ and has already gained 2lbs since birth!! He will be 3 weeks tomorrow. Time is flying way to fast! :(

NOT me Monday!

Well I follow an incredible blog called MckMama and every Monday she has a Not me Monday where we lovely mommies can confess what we did NOT do this week. :) Today my Not me Monday is about my aversion to leaning over the bathtub. So in the last few weeks baths have become something I dread as this basketball sized lump under my shirt becomes more pronounced and my back becomes more achey giving baths has become a not so nightly thing anymore. So no way am I the mother who slapped baby lotion all over her squirmy toddler so he would smell delicious and oh so fresh without giving him a bath, No Not Me! I would never do something so appalling just for my own comfort, and I would never ask my 5 year old to wash his little brother in the shower so I could sit and read the last few pages of my book while sitting in the bathroom listening to the scrubbing yet not participating in it. These are the things that any good Mother would certainly not do! So for my NOT me Monday for sure I did not do either of them several times this week! :) Everyone knows I am perfect, right? :)
